About Katie

I’ve spent my entire career in the childcare world, and it’s a field I’m genuinely passionate about. Becoming a sleep consultant felt like a natural step - it allows me to support families in a meaningful, life-changing way and help them find the calmer, more restful nights they’ve been craving.

I’m a bit of a child-psychology geek, always fascinated by how children think, feel, and respond to the world around them. Sleep and behaviour are deeply connected, and understanding that link has become a huge part of the work I do. I specialise in supporting children with additional needs, including those who are neurodiverse or who require a more adaptive, gentle approach. Every child is unique, and their sleep support should be too.

As a mum of three, I’ve been through my own fair share of sleep struggles. I know exactly how overwhelming, emotional, and exhausting it can be when nights feel unpredictable - and how much it impacts the whole household. This personal experience fuels my empathy and strengthens my commitment to helping families feel heard, understood, and supported.

My aim is to give you the tools, knowledge, and confidence to guide your child toward healthier sleep in a way that respects their individuality and your family values. Together, we’ll create calmer evenings, smoother nights, and a more peaceful rhythm for your whole family.

We can’t thank Katie enough for all the help and support she gave us!

Our son had never slept in a cot for more than 2 hours, we had to put him down fast asleep and if he woke he wasn’t able to self-settle and it could take up two hours for us to get him back down in the cot, after about 3am getting him back to sleep in the cot was an impossible task, it got worse not better and we ended up co-sleeping.

Eventually we contacted Katie, and I wish we did it 6 months earlier! The support Katie gave us was amazing, she explained everything and reassured me, a lot! I think for me the main benefit of having a sleep trainer was Katie’s support, I don’t think I’d ever have been able to see it through and stick to it without Katie reassuring me all the way through, she adapted things to suit our son, she was there to check in and give extra support when required.

Our son now sleeps in his own room; we can give him a bottle and put him down still awake and he will go to sleep on his own and settle in the night, this really was something I never thought we were going to be able to achieve.

Working with Katie was an absolute dream.

We had been struggling with our little one’s sleep for so long, she was never a good sleeper. She would be up so many times in the night and just could not be settled.

As first-time parents we felt like we had tried everything, then someone suggested we tried Katie. We put it off for a while but wish we hadn’t! From the very start she was really welcoming and understanding. She was able to relate to us and make us feel like we weren’t alone.

If she woke in the night, she was able to self soothe. It felt like a miracle. You don’t realise how precious sleep is until it’s taken away from you. It made for a happier little girl and happier (and more well-rested) parents.
